Terms of Service

These terms apply to trash-bandit.com and to junk removal, cleanout, demolition and dumpster rental services from Trash Bandits LLC ("Trash Bandits," "we," "us"). The specific terms you accept when you book, and any signed rental agreement or written quote, also apply. If they differ from this page, the terms for your specific booking or agreement control.

Bookings and estimates

A booking is a request until Trash Bandits confirms it. Your preferred date and time are not reserved until we confirm them.
Online estimates and price sliders are for guidance only. We confirm the scope and final price with you before work begins.
Our minimum pickup charge is $135. Removing items from inside the home adds $35 (garages excluded), and stairs add $20 per flight.
Free quotes are free. A free quote is not an agreement to perform work.

Items we remove

You must have permission to authorize the removal of the items you ask us to take.
Once removed, items become the property of Trash Bandits for donation, recycling or disposal. We make reasonable efforts to donate and recycle suitable items but cannot guarantee either outcome.
We do not accept hazardous or dangerous waste, asbestos, liquids, paint, solvents, oils, pesticides, batteries, propane tanks, explosives, hot ashes, medical waste or other unlawful material. Ask us first about tires, appliances, electronics, treated wood or other items that need special disposal. We may refuse a load or item we believe is unsafe or prohibited.

Cancellations: junk pickups and cleanouts

Cancel at least 24 hours before the start of your confirmed arrival window for no fee and a full refund of any advance payment.
With less than 24 hours' notice, prepaid pickups have a cancellation fee of 50% of the agreed service price, and we refund the rest. Unpaid pickups have a cancellation fee of 25% of the agreed service price, billed by invoice. Percentages apply before taxes and optional tips.
These fees apply only to confirmed pickups with an agreed price. Free quotes, unconfirmed requests and bookings without an agreed price have no cancellation fee.
To cancel, call (509) 416-0141. If we don't answer, leave a voicemail with your name, service address and appointment date. Notice is measured from when your message is received. You may also use the cancellation link in your booking confirmation when available.
Refunds go to the original payment method. If Trash Bandits cancels before service begins, you may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund.

Dumpster rentals

Dumpster rentals are governed by the rental agreement you sign, which sets out the rental period, price, disposal charges by weight, extra-day charges, prohibited materials and care of the dumpster and your property. Please read it before signing and keep a copy.

Demolition

A demolition booking is a request for a consultation. It does not authorize us to begin work. Scope, price, access and any project-specific terms must be agreed with you before work starts. Junk pickup cancellation fees do not apply to demolition.

Payments

Payment timing and accepted methods are stated in your quote, invoice or rental agreement. Payments made through a payment link are processed by our payment provider.

Reviews

We welcome honest reviews, good or bad. By submitting a review on our website, you confirm it reflects your own experience, and you allow us to display it on our website and in our marketing. We review submissions before they appear and remove only spam, abusive content, personal information about others, or content unrelated to our services. We do not remove reviews just because they are negative.

Using this website

The text, photos, logos and the Trash Bandits mascot on this site belong to Trash Bandits LLC. Please don't copy them for commercial use without permission. We work to keep the site accurate and available but don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted. Prices and service areas may change.

Responsibility for damage

We take reasonable care during every job. Please point out fragile surfaces, landscaping or items that need extra protection before we start. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for our own negligence, or any rights you have under law that cannot be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Nothing here limits consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. The terms you accepted for a specific booking still apply to that booking.
